Price, still the reigning British and Commonwealth champion, saw his hopes of a world title shot shattered by consecutive stoppage defeats to American veteran Tony Thompson.
But the 30-year-old believes he is capable of forcing his way back to the top level after linking up the man with whom he had first signed as a professional in 2009.
Price said: "It's a fresh start. I can leave behind what has happened but know that I've learnt from it. I've got the passion back now and I'm looking forward to getting in shape and putting a few things right.
"I've got a good feeling about this move, and truly believe Adam is the man to bring out my true potential."
