Froch has made no secret of his intentions to avenge the only two professional defeats of his career next year after an mpressive third-round knockout win over fringe contender Yusaf Mack in Nottingham on Saturday.
The first of those losses came at the hands of Kessler, who triumphed by unanimous decision in a close fight in Denmark two years ago as part of the Super Six tournament.
Kessler announced his retirement from boxing shortly after the fight due to an eye injury but has since returned with two knockout wins.
He is scheduled to face Brian Magee for the WBA world super-middleweight title next month but has already turned his attentions towards a possible re-match with Froch, who saidover the weekend he suspected the 'Viking Warrior' was keen to avoid him.
"Don't you worry, Carl, I beat you once and I will beat you again," said Kessler, whose only two defeats have come against Joe Calzaghe and Andre Ward, who is the only other fighter to have defeated Froch.
"Enjoy your belt while you have it. And let me take care of business against Brian Magee first.
"Of course I am ready to fight you again, any time, any place, especially if Andre Ward is too scared to leave his backyard."
Despite the trash talk, Froch and Kessler are known to have a healthy respect for one another.
And 33-year-old Kessler was pleased to see his rival emerge victorious against Philadelphian Mack, who failed to beat the count after two ferocious body shots.
"That was a good win for you, congratulations," Kessler added. "Keep it up and I am sure we will meet again."
