Zing Wing has failed to figure off higher marks since scoring over C&D in September and Glastonberry was still beaten nearly four lengths despite finishing second here last time, though she did have Chambles behind. AMOSITE doesn't win very often but was only beaten a head at Lingfield last month and Patrick Hills' claim could give her the edge in this. Climaxfortackle has been running well over 6f though both wins to date have come over a mile while Big Sylv won a lower grade handicap last month and came up short last time.

Khawatim left his recent form behind along with Gabrial's Gift and Belle Bayardo when backed off the boards and scoring over C&D last time. He remains well treated on his best efforts but Picansort has yet to win off a mark as high as today's having gone in at Lingfield during the week. This looks tougher than the claimer Dark Lane won at Kempton when Fairy Wing was way off the pace so a punt is taken on AL KHAN as he's now 23lb lower than when starting last season and is dropping down a grade after a recent fourth at Kempton.

Plenty with claims in this including Al's Memory who was all out to land a double over 7f at Lingfield last time. Avertis has also won his last two starts at the same track but over a mile and Toga Tiger hasn't stopped improving yet judged on his latest win at Wolverhampton. Storm Runner continues to run well and Haftohaf had Red Somerset behind when third over C&D last time. Light From Mars is yet another to consider but a tentative vote goes the way of ANGELIC UPSTART, who has been running well without success in tougher handicaps than this and has a first-time visor and a 7lb claimer helping his cause today.

No recent winning form on offer but Sole Danser went close when runner-up at Wolverhampton last week and should be in the firing-line again in this lesser company. Mother Jones is capable at this level and could figure while Welease Bwian had both Dancing Freddy and HAADEETH behind when finding only one too good over C&D a week ago. The latter failed to get a clear run on that occasion, however, and 17lb lower than his latest win in April last year, it could be his turn today. Gabbiano has also slipped down the weights and makes most appeal of the remainder with a recent comeback under his belt.

Headgear is applied to Fluctuate on his comeback run and the betting could provide the best clue to the chances of the Wolverhampton maiden winner. SPIFER has the more recent form with a recent third to the progressive Alfred Hutchinson looking good enough to land this prize. A line through the latter gives dual Lingfield winner Aquilonius every chance and he has to come into the reckoning but Kames Park and Noble Silk will need to dig a bit deeper to get involved in this company.

The best race on today's card and ANACONDA makes most appeal. He went very close to following up his six-length maiden win when runner-up over C&D on his return from nine months off the track and can confirm running with both Mia's Boy and Strictly Silver. Grey Mirage has every chance on his recent defeat of Webbow and George Guru while Loyalty remains well treated on his past form despite another rise in the weights for scoring at this track last Saturday. Verse Of Love and Fast Finian are upped in class but Nazreef would figure if reproducing his best after a below-par effort at Kempton last month.

Welsh Inlet has decent claims back at this track only 3lb higher than when scoring over C&D last month. Michael's Nook posted a much better effort at Wolverhampton last time and is another leading contender but WEST LEAKE is just preferred. He went very close over track and trip recently and finally looks set to bring a losing streak to an end off his current mark. Spinning Ridge and Mambo Spirit have both tumbled down the weights without showing any benefit so far and Jackie Love looks high enough in the handicap now.
