Barcelona have been cut for the Champions League after rivals Real Madrid were drawn to face Manchester United in the last 16.

Barcelona are favourites to win the trophy again

The Catalan club are now generally 2/1 and no bigger than 9/4 having been drawn against AC Milan, who can be backed at 100/1 with Blue Square and 888sport.

Real Madrid's failure to top their group has backfired as they'll now face United, and they're now 5/1 with BetVictor while United have been eased to a general 14/1.

Bayern Munich are 7/1 fourth-favourites having been paired with Arsenal, who are now available at 33/1, while fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are standout 8/1 chances with bet365 having been handed a tie with 33/1 shots Shakhtar Donetsk.

BetVictor spokesman Charlie McCann said: "It is a fantastic draw for the neutral but for all involved with Manchester United and Arsenal it is a nightmare and we have cut Barca in their quest for a third Champions League in five years."

Juventus have been cut from 16s to a general 10/1 after they landed Celtic, who are 150/1 and only ahead of 250/1 shots Galatasary in the market after the Turkish club drew Schalke, now no bigger than 66s.

Scottish firm reckon Celtic are up against it and quote 4/1 that they advance to the quarter-finals.

Paul Petrie, spokesman commented: "This is a very tough draw for Celtic and they are massive underdogs. However, that was also the case for the group stages, and, with the first leg at Celtic Park, they won't be overawed."

Valencia will face Paris Saint-Germain and those two can be backed at 66/1 and 20/1 respectively while Malaga and Porto can each be backed at 50/1 having been drawn together.

Ties will be played over two legs, the first on February 12/13 and the second a week later.
