Watson opted for Keegan Bradley, Webb Simpson and Hunter Mahan and BetVictor make Bradley their 5/4 favourite to top score from the trio with Simpson 7/4 and Mahan the outsider at 9/4.

Bradley is a 9/1 chance to top score from the whole USA side at Boylesports with Mahan and Simpson both on offer at 10/1 with the same firm.

Rickie Fowler is the market leader at 11/2 with bet365, BetVictor and Stan James ahead of Phil Mickelson at 6/1 and Matt Kuchar at 8/1.

As the countdown continues, Coral are a best price of 4/6 for a European win with the USA 15/8 (Ladbrokes) and a tie 10/1 generally. The hosts are 1/2 (Coral) to lift the trophy - to do so they only need a draw or better.

European team members Jamie Donaldson, Thomas Bjorn and Victor Duibuisson are all in action this week at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.

The trio dominate the betting with Donaldson 12/1 and Bjorn 14/1 with a number of firms while the Frenchman trades at 16/1 (888sport) ahead of Thursday's tee-off.
