The Blues capitalised on a rare home slip-up by holders Manchester City with victory at Everton on Saturday, one which saw them go 4/5 generally and no bigger than 5/6.

City's 1-0 defeat to Stoke means they're out to 11/4 from 9/4, while Arsenal also drifted to 12/1 having drawn at Leicester on Sunday.

That result came soon after Liverpool had won 3-0 at Spurs and Brendan Rodgers' side are now third-favourites for the title at 11/1, with Spurs out to 66s following their first defeat under Mauricio Pochettino.

Manchester United's (18/1) miserable start to the campaign continued as they were held at Burnley on what was a good weekend for the promoted clubs, with QPR securing a first win of the season at home to Sunderland.

Burnley remain odds-on for relegation at 1/2 but QPR are out to 7/4 with Coral, while Leicester are 7/2 with BetVictor and Spreadex with several other layers offering 3/1.

Crystal Palace, who secured a point at Newcastle thanks to a last-minute equaliser, are 13/8 with Ladbrokes, while West Brom's defeat at Swansea saw them cut to a best of 15/8 by bwin.

Diego Costa continued his fine start to life at Chelsea with a Brace at Everton and he's hardened to a general 9/4 for the Golden Boot.
