Brisbane v Canterbury (+2) (Friday, 1045 BST)
Brisbane have lost five of their last six. It's do or die for both teams as the Bulldogs have lost their last three.
Canterbury do have some key players back and they are the better team on paper. In the scenario set here, they can eliminate the errors and win with a small start.
South Sydney Rabbitohs (+2) v Manly Sea Eagles (Friday, 1045)
Souths v Manly is a game between the top two in the league.
Manly are the best team in the league but they're away from home. Souths come off a great win last week and are in great form - there's nothing between the two on paper.
However with the in-form Greg Inglis at full-back, plus home advantage, South are the call.
Newcastle Knights (+12) v Melbourne Storm (Saturday, 0830)
Newcastle play Melbourne having been hot and cold for a while.
However, at home their form is good and they've got key players returning. You'd still expect Storm to win but they did play on Monday and the handicap gives the home side a good chance to land us a winner.
North Queensland Cowboys v Wests Tigers (+14) (Saturday, 1030)
North Queensland play the Tigers on Saturday and should win well.
Tigers are in crisis on and off the field whereas the Cowboys have won six on the bounce at home. They should really take advantage of the problems Tigers have.
