Racing tip of the day
Ben Linfoot heads away from the punting party at Glorious Goodwood and to good old Musselburgh for his tip of the day.

RECOVER - 6.45 Musselburgh
After deserting Lyn Valley for just about the first time this season in favour of stablemate Rainbow Rock yesterday, I was a man on my knees questioning my love for the great game.
So you'll forgive me for ignoring Glorious Goodwood for tip of the day purposes, as if it's a pretty solid chance you're after it's best to ignore the punting party that's going on in Sussex.
Musselburgh, by contrast, will be a relative oasis of calm up in Scotland for their Friday evening meeting and the Wilkinson & Associates Nursery Handicap at 6.45 has a couple of potential improvers among its number.
Westhoughton is one of them, but he's been beaten far enough in maiden company to question his potential role as favourite here and I much prefer the claims of RECOVER.
Brian Meehan's filly was well held herself on her first two starts but then put in a hugely-improved performance at Lingfield last time when fitted with blinkers.
She tried to make all that day but faded into a four-length fifth over six furlongs and looks well worth a crack at the minimum trip on that evidence.
Meehan is two from three with his runners at this track in the last five seasons and has booked the services of 'Super' Stevie Donohoe who will hopefully be lifting the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood on Saturday.
Before then, though, he has a good chance of landing this nursery prize as long as his filly continues her improvement on her return to turf.
