Here's to more celebrations Neil.

Red Paladin - 14.00 Doncaster

It's good to see Neil Callan back on these shores. In fact there'll be an even warmer greeting from these quarters if he can boot home Red Paladin in the opening Les "Buddy" Clarke Memorial Handicap at Doncaster.

There are plenty of reasons for optimism too given the four-year-old has already shown a liking for Town Moor and has the hood re-fitted for what looks a winnable opportunity.

Back down to his last winning mark, Kevin Ryan's charge handles underfoot conditions and looks a fair each-way poke at around the 9/1 mark.

This isn't a warm heat. The unexposed Oak Bluffs is resepected for his top team as he goes up to seven furlongs and Sleeping Apache is on the upgrade and on the shortlist.

But we know Red Paladin is handicapped to win off 65, loves the track and goes on the surface. He'll do for me.
