Uruguay have been cut to 33/1 by bet365 and BetVictor to win the World Cup after making it through to the knockout stages courtesy of 1-0 win over 10-man Italy.

Diego Godin's late goal sent Uruguay to the last 16 but there are concerns about Luis Suarez's availability after he found himself at the centre of another biting accusation.

Suarez clashed with Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini before Uruguay's winner.

Television replays showed Suarez moving his head towards Chiellini who responded by swinging an arm, before chasing the referee to apparently insist he had been bitten on his shoulder.

Sky Bet offer 1/10 that Suarez is banned for any match at the World Cup and go 11/2 he avoids a suspension in Brazil.

Uruguay are now set for a clash with Group C winners Colombia.

A 4-1 victory over Japan made sure of top spot for Colombia and they can now be backed at 25/1 with 888sport and William Hill to lift the trophy.

Costa Rica finished top of Group D and now face Greece, who scored a very late penalty to beat Ivory Coast 2-1 and finish second in Group C.

Paddy Power and 888sport have Costa Rica as a 55/1 shot to win the World Cup and Greece are available at 100/1.

England's World Cup campaign ended with a 0-0 draw against Costa Rica.

The new focus for Roy Hodgson's Three Lions has changed to qualification for Euro 2016 and Sky Bet make them 11/8 to go unbeaten on their way to the finals.

Hodgson remains under pressure and Gary Neville (8/1, Paddy Power) and Jose Mourinho (8/1, BetVictor and Paddy Power) are priced up as the two most likely contenders for the England job.
