Portugal are 9/1 with bet365 to make it out of World Cup Group G after scoring a stoppage-time equaliser to keep their hopes alive with a 2-2 draw against the United States.

Substitute Silvestre Varela headed home the very late leveller to secure a point for Portugal after the USA thought Clint Dempsey's effort in the 81st minute had secured victory.

The draw leaves the USA level with their final Group G opponents Germany on four points.

Ghana and Portugal, however, are both three points off the pace before facing one another.

That means a draw between Germany and the USA would send both nations through to the knockout stages and the price on offer about such an outcome is just 7/4 with Ladbrokes and shorter elsewhere.

“We’ve had to go shorter than usual on the draw between Germany and the USA in the final game just in case the two sides settle for the point,” said Coral’s John Hill.

Germany are BetVictor's 1/50 favourites to make it out of Group G, while the USA are also expected to progress at 1/4 with Stan James and Paddy Power.

Ghana can be backed at 6/1 for a place in the last 16 and Portugal are available at 9/1.

Boylesports and Sky Bet make Belgium 22/1 to win the World Cup after they beat Russia 1-0 to confirm their progress from Group H.

A first international goal from 19-year-old striker Divock Origi bagged three points for Belgium and now they look ahead to the last 16.

The outright market is still led by hosts Brazil at 7/2 with BetVictor and Stan James.

Germany and Argentina can both be backed at 4/1, while France and Holland are available at 9/1 and 12/1 respectively.

Algeria are the 5/6 favourites with Paddy Power to join Belgium in making it out of Group H following an impressive 4-2 victory over South Korea.

Russia will make it through if they beat Algeria on Thursday and can be backed at 6/5 to qualify.

South Korea are the big outsiders at 40/1 with Paddy Power.
