Racing tip of the day
Our Matt Brocklebank is hoping to fill the coffers ahead of the Dante meeting with a bet at Beverley.

One Flat card at Beverley might not be everyone's idea of the best way to warm up for the fantastic three days of action we're expecting at York but there'll be no complaints from me - especially if Ted's Brother comes up with the goods again.
Richard Guest's charge loves getting his toe into the ground and appears to have everything in his favour in the Happy Birthday Graham Roberts Handicap at 4.00.
Firstly, he bolted up under Connor Beasley at Hamilton just nine days ago and although effectively racing off 74 here with the 6lb penalty to contend with, he has scored off an official mark of 72 in the past so certainly isn't handicapped out of things. He also has a good record of backing up a decent run within a short space of time - last June he was second at Thirsk before winning here just a week after, and he then finished a close third at Carlisle at the end of July before winning six days later at Hamilton.
There are more instances further back in his career, including back-to-back wins in August 2011, so there are no concerns whatsoever about not running his race just over a week after scoring.
Another positive is the form of his yard in general, which has sent out three winners in the past fortnight, while he should get a nice tow into the race if able to track likely pace-setters and Toto Skylachy and Dual Mac.
Hearing the news of Kingston Hill missing the Dante wasn't easy to take for those of us who dipped our toes in a few hours too early, but here's hoping Ted's Brother can set us up for York on a more positive note.
