Atletico came from behind to beat Chelsea 3-1 in their semi-final second-leg at Stamford Bridge, and are on track for a remarkable double as they lead the way in La Liga with three games remaining. They're general 11/8 shots for a first Champions League trophy.

Real's obvious experience advantage means they've been made firm favourites having produced two stunning displays to sweep past defending champions Bayern Munich with prices of 8/13 and 4/7 offered across the board.

"The betting suggests Real are firm favourites, but Atletico could be decent value at the prices as they are leading the way in Spain," said Coral's John .

Paddy Power make Real 23/20 to win the final in 90 minutes, while Unibet put up an initial 3/1 quote about Atletico with extra-time priced at 23/10 but their price about the underdogs is now in line with others at 11/4.

"Atletico may be flying in the league but it is the European experience of Real that we think may see them over the line," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Jose Mourinho is left to wait in his bid to guide Chelsea to a Champions League final and Paddy Power bet just 6/1 that he leaves the club this season. His side look set to come up short on all fronts this term but bet365 make them 8/11 to win a major trophy next season.

"The 'Special One' endured a major trophy-free campaign in his final year in Madrid and it's looking like a similar story in his first season back at Stamford Bridge," said bet365's Steve Freeth.

  • Atletico's win was good news for followers of Ben Linfoot's outright preview, in which they were advised each-way at 40/1 which therefore guarantees a minimum 19-point profit
