Jose Mourinho lost his unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge as his side were stunned by the bottom club 2-1 and are now out 22/1 at Paddy Power as they sit two points behind Liverpool.

The latter face Norwich at midday on Sunday and would stride five points clear while Manchester City are general 4/1 chances ahead of their game on Monday at home to West Brom.

1 Liverpool 77
2 Chelsea 75
3 Man City 71
4 Arsenal 67

6 Tottenham 63

Coral cut Liverpool into 2/9 from 1/2 for the title and their spokesman John Hill said: "Sunderland have once again had a big impact on the Premier League betting by taking points off another of Liverpool's title rivals.

"With just four games to go for Liverpool, it is going to take a big slip up now for them not to win the league."

Sunderland have enjoyed a good week following their draw at Manchester City as well and have eased to 8/11 at Sky Bet, Boylesports and Betfred for relegation.

Cardiff are 1/5 in that market following their 1-1 draw at home with Stoke.
