Hibs to secure important win

This weekend sees the first of the post-split fixtures in the Scottish Premiership and it's in the bottom six where most of the intrigue lies.
Aberdeen and Motherwell are doing battle for second place but five teams are fighting against falling into the relegation play-off spot at the bottom end of the table. The split has its critics but it does ensure an exciting end to the season with all five of those clubs facing each other over the next five weeks.
The pick of the games this Saturday has to be in Paisley where St Mirren take on Hibernian.
A few months ago, Hibs being involved in a relegation battle seemed unthinkable but a run of one win in 14 means they now sit just four points above the dreaded 11th place.
Hibs may not have won away from home since December but they are unbeaten in their last five trips to St Mirren, winning three of them.
Saints have won successive home games only once this season and you have to wonder how they will handle the pressure on Saturday. A defeat would be a huge blow for their survival hopes.
There's not a lot to like about Hibs at the moment but on paper they have a bit more quality than their opponents. They're worth a shot at 21/10 to win.
