Liverpool, 25/1 for the Premier League last month, are no bigger than 100/30 after beating Sunderland 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Several firms put them into 3/1 following their seventh successive league win in a row, with Boylesports going a top price of 100/30.

Their latest success, which came courtesy of goals from Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, took them within one point of leaders Chelsea with both sides having seven games remaining.

The Reds were as big as 25/1 early last month before setting out on their current winning streak.

BetVictor now have both Liverpool and Chelsea at 11/4 with Manchester City, three points off the lead but with two games in hand, odds-on across the board.

Most firms go 10/11 but Unibet and 888sport deliberately go the smallest of fractions higher at 11/12.

Sunderland, meanwhile, are now odds-on everywhere in the relegation market with all the even-money quotes disappearing as a result of their narrow defeat. They are into a best of 10/11 (general)

They join Fulham and Cardiff as odds-on shots in the market with Crystal Palace next in the betting at 11/8.

West Ham look safe after their 2-1 victory over Hull at Upton Park in the night's other top-flight match.

The Hammers, now nine points clear of the relegation zone, can be backed at 25s for the drop.

Hull, a point behind West Ham, were left at the same price by Sky Bet.
