Keltic Rhythm 3.40 Stratford

Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it's Cheltenham time!

Well nearly, anyway. One day to go and though the temptation is to bury our heads in the formbook ahead of the next four days, there is action at Stratford, Plumpton and Taunton this afternoon and the chance to boost the war chest is too great to resist.

Singling out one is tough, but that is this item's brief. At Plumpton I like Our Phylli Vera, a mare whose recent form has been boosted by Clonusker.

At Taunton I like Capisci, who won easily at the course last time and can defy an 11lb rise.

But I'll go with KELTIC RHYTHM, who can get into a good rhythm at the tight, left-handed track that is Stratford today judging by his superb display of jumping on his fencing debut at Leicester.

Watch it here. I'm sure you'll agree - a fine display of jumping for a debutant.

That style of fencing should suit Stratford well, and with Noel Fehily in the plate he can see off the attentions of main rival Caulfields Venture who went up 4lb for winning a weak race narrowly over a shorter distance last time - his first victory in 14 attempts.
