It looks like being a two-horse race for second place behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership with Motherwell and Aberdeen looking too strong for the likes of Inverness and Dundee United.
The two sides go head-to-head at Fir Park on Saturday and an away win would put the Dons four clear of 'Well.
The three meetings between the sides this season have gone the way of the visitors and the fact Aberdeen have won their last five on the road gives their 7/4 some appeal.
But Motherwell had won six on the bounce until last week's defeat to Celtic which makes this a really tough one to call.
'Well striker John Sutton has his critics but has scored 11 times this season. He scored in recent wins over Hearts, St Johnstone and Partick Thistle and could be worth backing to find the net again.
He has scored first six times this season and is 6/1 to do likewise this weekend, which looks the bet in a fascinating encounter.
On Monday night it may be worth a small flutter on St Johnstone.
They face the short trip to Tannadice to face Dundee United on the back of only their second away win of the season against Partick Thistle on Tuesday night.
Saints showed early signs that they would perform well on the road with wins in the Europa League and League Cup but just two league wins in 11 away matches have followed.
However, they face a United side that has lost four of their last six with three of those losses by three goals.
St Johnstone were beaten 4-0 at Tannadice earlier in the season but the 11/4 on them to take the three points on Monday looks more than reasonable.
