Li Na & Agnieszka Radwanska both to win 2-0 at 2.59/1 (bwin)
An upset hurt us last night but I'm confident that the same won't happen on women's semi-finals day. The two favourites look to have almost everything in their favour. Both Li (1-0) and Radwanska (5-1) have strong head-to-head records against respective opponents Eugenie Bouchard and Dominika Cibulkova. Both come in having played good tennis in the quarter-finals and, crucially, they have the greater experience. Both Li and Radwanska have won Grand Slam semi-finals before. This is Bouchard's first and I wouldn't be surprised if she were overwhelmed, as Sloane Stephens, Kirsten Flipkens and Flavia Pennetta were in their first semi-finals at this level last season. Cibulkova has played one before but was well beaten at Roland Garros in 2009 and as well as she's playing, I feel Radwanska's variety will do for her. It's also worth noting that the Slovak was playing well the last time these two met on the Plexicushion (in Sydney last year) and duly lost 6-0 6-0. Throwing that lot together, I fancy the straight-sets double which pays more than 5/2.
