Goals from Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky ensured a 2-0 success over Tim Sherwood's side and a place in the fourth round draw.

Manchester City are the 5/1 market leaders currently at Sky Bet, Hills and Paddy Power but they will need a replay at the Etihad Stadium following a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

Chelsea (11/2, general), Liverpool (7/1, BetVictor) and Manchester United (8/1, BetVictor) are all in action on Sunday while Everton saw their price cut to no bigger than 10/1 with a number of firms after they spanked QPR 4-0.

Punters were left cursing a number of surprise results on Saturday, including Aston Villa's shock third-round exit at the hands of Sky Bet League 1 outfit Sheffield United.

Jamie Murphy's deflected strike put the Blades ahead at Villa Park and although Nicklas Helenius levelled the scores, Ryan Flynn's superb strike late on sealed a famous 2-1 victory.

This result followed a great start to the day for the bookmakers when Manuel Pellegrini's ante-post favourites, who were among the most popular selections in accumulators up and down the country, were held.

While Premier League quartet Everton, Hull, Southampton and Stoke all progressed past lower division opposition, away wins for Cardiff and Crystal Palace in all-top flight affairs weren't so expected.

Other upsets included the Championship quartet of Leeds, Barnsley, Doncaster and Millwall all being knocked out against Rochdale, Coventry, Stevenage and Southend respectively.
