Australia are now long odds-on favourites to take the Third Ashes Test following another successful day at Perth.

The prospect of regaining the Ashes appears a highly realistic one for the Australians as they skittled out England for 252 in their first innings having seen the visitors at 190-4 earlier in the day.

Some aggressive batting from David Warner and a couple of fielding mishaps helped Australia to a total of 235/3 in their second innings at the close of play.

Currently 369 runs ahead and with seven wickets remaining; it's not hard to see why the Australians are such hot favourites at a general price of 1/10 although Paddy Power offer 1/16 about the eventuality.

Conversely, England are a best price of 40/1 with bet365 to snatch an unlikely victory and the Draw a best priced 17/2 with Paddy Power.
