The much vaunted Akorakor making his hurdling debut in the opener, Oscars Well reappearing in the Poplar Square Chase. It's enough to tempt this bloated, bearded 40 something to board a plane to Ireland for the afternoon. But they're not flying.
So instead I'll pour myself an afternoon coffee, buy a Yorkie from the vending machine and watch Realt Mor turn over Oscars Well et al in the Grade Three feature.
The selection, formerly trained by Nicky Richards, was a surprise winner of the Powers Gold Cup in his first season over fences and can be hard to catch when getting into an early rhythm.
Gordon Elliott expects him to prove more tractable with another summer on his back but I still expect to see him go from the front this afternoon - and run his rivals into the ground.
