England are 21/20 to win the 2013/14 Ashes series in Australia with Stan James after securing a 3-0 victory over their rivals with a draw at the Oval.

In a final Test which somehow seemed in keeping with the four which preceded it, England were set a target of 227 to win as Australia tried in vain to restore pride with their first victory of the series.

Led by Kevin Pietersen's 62 off just 55 balls - the fastest ever Ashes half-century by an England player - the hosts looked on course to reach the required total and finish off the series in style before bad light stopped play.

Afterwards, Jimmy Anderson promised more from an England side who somehow failed to impress some judges despite being in command for most of the series.

Certainly, the layers aren't totally convinced by Alastair Cook's men who had been odds-on for the return series before the draw at the Oval, one which Australia would arguably have been unfortunate to lose.

Australia clearly have work to do to bridge what's a clear gap but bet365's 2/1 is the best price about them gaining revenge, with a drawn series priced at 11/2 with Sky Bet.
