England reached the close on day three on 247 for four, trailing Australia by 245.
Bell had made 29 of those by stumps and is a 4/1 shot to score his fourth century of the series at Sky Bet.
The Warwickshire batsman ended the day alongside his county team-mate Chris Woakes (15) at the crease and the pair were chalked up at 3/1 by the Leeds-based firm to both score 50 or more.
Woakes has been 'price boosted' to 6/1 from 5/1 to be England's top runscorer in the first innings by Sky Bet. Joe Root is the top scorer so far with 68.
The outright market suggests a draw is all-but certain, especially with poor weather forecast for Saturday.
Sky Bet offer a 'best' of 1/14 with Australia at 13/1 (888sport) and England 66/1 chances with William Hill and Paddy Power.
"This Test has got draw written all over it," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
Adams' firm set England's total innings runs line at 414.5 at the close. It's 5/6 either side of that mark.
