Australia's dramatic late win has left the bookies over the moon at the prospect of a match which is set to smash all previous betting records for the sport, both in-play and pre-match.

The Lions head to Sydney as marginal 5/6 favourites with the home side now just 6/5 to secure the series, having been 4/1 before the second Test.

The home side's win is also relief for the firm who were sweating over a significant payout for a series whitewash while it's also now just 3/1 that again only Welsh players get on the scoresheet for the Lions in the final match.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "We can barely contain our excitement at the prospect of the biggest betting match in rugby history. The Lions head to Sydney a nose in front with the odds favouring another incredibly close game."
