Friday's Coronation Stakes sees a rematch between QIPCO 1000 Guineas first and second Sky Lantern and Just The Judge.
Since then the latter has gone on to win the Irish version and she was woolly in her coat at Newmarket so there's every chance she improved from her first run to the second one.
She was very impressive at the Curragh and I fancy her to turn the tables but both principals are drawn very wide on the round mile, Sky Lantern in 16 and Just The Judge 17. It won't be easy from out there and they'll need luck and very good rides from Richard Hughes and Jamie Spencer respectively.
Pavlosk is an interesting runner and is unbeaten in two runs. She was very impressive at York last time and has been supplemented for this but needs to improve again.
The one I like is Big Break who is very well drawn in one. She wasn't ready for the English 1000 but ran very promisingly at the Curragh, not beaten that far, and with improvement to come and from a better draw, she looks the safest call.
Elsewhere Battle Of Marengo will go off a short price favourite for the King Edward VII and, while he's not much of a bet at the prices, he will take all the beating.
He was fourth in the Investec Derby at Epsom and that form is head and shoulders above what the rest of these have achieved so far.
I was impressed with Mutashaded when he won at Sandown last time but the form hasn't worked out. Noble Bull and Theodore Gericault, second and third that day, certainly haven't franked it.
He is unbeaten in two starts though and powered home last time and is a colt with a very promising future but Battle Of Marengo sets a very high standard.
