FA Cup winners Wigan are into 1/20 for relegation from the Premier League after a string of results went against them on Sunday.

After the joy of Saturday's Wembley victory over Manchester City, the reality of their league situation hit home when Sunday's matches were played.

Norwich and Newcastle both won to secure safety, while the 1-1 draw between Sunderland and Southampton - and the Latics' bad goal-difference situation - means Wigan will now have to win their last two games to stay in the top flight.

If they do pick up six points from games with Arsenal (away) on Tuesday and Aston Villa (home) next Sunday they will survive, but it looks a tough ask.

The bookies certainly think that and they are no bigger than Coral's 1/20 to go down. You could have had 1/3 prior to Sunday's games.

Sunderland and Villa are the only other sides still under threat.

The Black Cats are 20/1 for the drop with bet365, Boylesports and Paddy Power, while Villa are 33/1 with Paddy Power.

At the other end of the table, Tottenham moved back into the top four and are now 11/10 with Sky Bet and Coral to hold onto Champions League football.

They lead rivals Arsenal by two points, although the Gunners have a game in hand - that clash with Wigan on Tuesday. They are generally 8/11 for a top-four finish.

On the final day, Spurs host Sunderland, while Arsenal head to Newcastle.
