Australia are offered at 11/8 with the draw 20/1. William Hill are 5/2 that the Lions produce a 3-0 victory but it is favourite that we see a 2-1 Lions victory at 7/4.

It is already one nil to rugby fans according to the firm, whose customers backed Sam Warburton from as big as 12/1 into 4/9 to be named captain.

"At one point Chris Robshaw was as short as 4/9 to Captain the Lions, whilst Sam Warburton was 12/1. Anyone who showed faith in him deserved their big payout," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Paddy Power have eased the Lions out to 8/11 following the announcement of the squad, one which doesn't include either Robshaw or Jonny Wilkinson, and trimmed Australia to 11/10.

Australia are generally 11/8 while BetVictor go 28s the draw.

Sky Bet make Irish veteran Brian O'Driscoll 5/6 to start the first test, with Ladbrokes shorter at 8/13. Stuart Hogg can be backed at 7/1 with both firms but there's disagreement with regards Tommy Bowe, who is 6/4 with Ladbrokes but 4/6 with Sky Bet.

The Lions will play ten games on their tour and Sky Bet make them 9/1 to win all ten, with eight victories their 2/1 favourite.

Coral offer 6/1 that they return home unbeaten. Their Nicola McGeady said: "Warren Gatland's selections for the Lions have lit up the betting and punters are convinced that a Test series victory is on the cards.

"And although the Lions face a tough challenge this summer, we are seeing money rolling in for them to remain unbeaten."

A 2-1 series win for the Lions is the general 15/8 jolly in the correct score betting, Ladbrokes go a standout 12/5 about a 2-1 win for Australia while a 3-0 whitewash for the Lions is 4/1 with 888sport.
