Spurs took an early lead through Gareth Bale but Wigan were soon level through an Emerson Boyce header.

Roberto Martinez's side then went ahead shortly after half-time but Spurs' persistence paid off late on when Boyce put through his own net to cost his side victory.

The result saw bet365 cut both Arsenal and Chelsea to 1/5 for a top-four finish while Everton, who beat Fulham 1-0, were cut to 50s by Ladbrokes.

Wigan were cut to a general 8/11 for relegation with Aston Villa, who face Sunderland on Monday, 21/10 chances with bet365.

Norwich's defeat at Stoke saw them cut to 16/1 by Ladbrokes while Newcastle are no bigger than 12s (BetVictor, Ladbrokes) following their 6-0 thumping at the hands of Liverpool.

That result saw Alan Pardew cut to a best of 5/2 to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
