The Rayners Lane-based bookies are now taking bets on how often Ferguson will get his hands on the trophy again after their most recent triumph and make Monday night's victory their 11/8 favourite to be his last.
However, that price also suggests he is odds-on to win it at least once more.
It's 6/4 that he wins exactly one more league trophy before retiring, with 5/1 the price he calls time on his illustrious career this summer.
Despite the unprecedented success he has achieved at the club, it remains 25/1 that Old Trafford is renamed after the manager in any way within the next 20 years.
Looking ahead to next season, United are the 6/4 favourites to retain the title with the firm, while it's 10/1 they win the next three in order to break their own record for consecutive victories.
Alex Donohue, of Ladbrokes, said: "It looks like Sir Alex may have lifted the Premier League title for the last time.
"Regardless of his time left at the club United are firm favourites to kick on next season with their own record in sight."
He added: "Many United fans are guaranteed excitement right until the wire as they bank on their side breaking the points tally this season."
That's an 8/1 shot with Ladbrokes but bet365 and Paddy Power offer 12/1 that they do so - they will need to win all four remaining games to reach 96 points and better Chelsea's tally of 95 from the 2004/05 season.
