There is plenty at stake in the first FA Cup semi-final at Wembley this weekend as Millwall face Wigan on Saturday evening.
Wigan are a best price 5/6 favourite with totesport to win the match in 90 minutes but I reckon the contest will be closer than the layers have it.
Millwall are 15/4 with Paddy Power and sportingbet to claim the victory and I reckon that is well worth an investment.
The Lions are in good form with Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday their first loss in seven games.
They have been incredibly solid defensively during that run with only one goal conceded in the six matches prior to Wednesday's trip south.
Millwall had the upper hand of the contest for sustained spells against the Owls and I don't think the defeat will knock them off their stride in such a big match for the club.
Wigan - as the followers of the annual Premier League survival battle will know - have once again picked up form in the second half of the season.
They are unbeaten in four games since the memorable 3-0 win over Everton in the quarter-finals but they are not to be feared by the Lions.
It took a last-gasp Shaun Maloney to secure a 1-1 draw against 10-man QPR last weekend and it was far from a vintage display in the 1-0 victory over Norwich.
Wigan should start as the favourites for the win but not by as much as they do and that is why I am all about the 15/4 for the Millwall success.
One other shout those of you after a longer-odds shot should consider is Danny Shittu to score the first goal.
The Millwall skipper scored the only goal of the game as his side won 1-0 at Blackburn in their quarter-final replay and can be backed to net first in this clash at 33/1.
He also struck in the victory over Aston Villa in the fourth round and is always one to watch from set-pieces.
I won't be getting involved as Millwall to win is my only tip but that doesn't mean others shouldn't consider it in their portfolio.
