The Reds came from 2-1 down to win at Anfield, as Spurs hit the self-destruct button.
Poor defending resulted in goals for Stewart Downing and then a Steven Gerrard penalty which saw Liverpool cut in the top-four market. Luis Suarez had put Liverpool ahead early on before Jan Vertonghen netted twice for the visitors.
Brendan Rodgers' side ended the day in sixth place, seven points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, who also have a game in hand.
However, the Reds have what appears to be a fairly easy run-in, meaning Ladbrokes offer them at 10/1. They are shorter elsewhere.

Spurs, who stay third, are nine points ahead of Liverpool following the defeat. They drifted out to 4/11 (general) for a top-four spot.
The result also boosted Arsenal's hopes - the fifth-placed Gunners, currently five points behind Chelsea, were cut by several firms with Blue Square going a best of 9/5 from 15/8.
Coral's Tim Reynolds, whose firm offer 8s about Liverpool, said: "That was a great result for Liverpool, but with the Reds still seven points adrift of Chelsea, it looks likely that Liverpool will once again have to settle for a Europa League spot this season."
Even that is far from certain with currently only fifth place guaranteed Europa League football.
Liverpool's win took them above local rivals Everton for the first time this season and they are now 4/6 to finish above the stuttering Toffees with Coral.
Both sides now have 45 points with Everton having played a game less.
