Wigan v Liverpool (CH)
Wigan are beginning to show signs of their trademark late surge to safety as they prepare to host Liverpool on Saturday evening while there's certainly been no shortage of goals in games involving the Latics in recent weeks.
Roberto Martinez's men showed their attacking flair in a ruthless 3-0 demolition of fellow strugglers Reading last time out which followed the 4-1 victory at Huddersfield in the FA Cup fifth round - but conceding eight goals in their three matches before then also underlines vulnerability at the back.
The Reds have rested up since being knocked out of the Europa League by Zenit St Petersburg but their performances in the 3-1 second leg victory and the recent 5-0 triumph over Swansea will give Wigan's defenders plenty of food for thought.
Ipswich v Leicester (CH)
Perhaps not the obvious selection given the last five Ipswich games wouldn't have delivered in this bet, but I feel goals could flow at Portman Road on this occasion as the Tractor Boys go in search of three much-needed points against a promotion-chasing Leicester side who are seemingly back on track.
Home wins over Middlesbrough, who they thumped 4-0, and Blackpool in February eased Ipswich's relegation fears but they are now just four points above the drop zone after a draw and a defeat in the last two, so Mick McCarthy will be looking for a response.
Leicester brushed aside Blackburn 3-0 in midweek after a winless run of four games to move within five points of second-placed Watford and will be fired up to maintain the momentum.
Accrington v Torquay (NH)
We journey to Lancashire for the weekend's Going For Goals selection from League Two and Accrington will be on a high for the visit of Torquay after the midweek victory at Rochdale.
Accrington's two previous home games have finished 1-1 and 2-2 but they could really do with three points in this battle between two strugglers.
Torquay haven't won in seven matches but were Going For Goals winners in Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat against Wycombe and I expect the same here.
