The firm's Rory Jiwani said: "Nigel Adkins was the subject of a number of large bets last night and this morning and his dismissal was a bad result for us in the next Premier League manager to go market.
"But his replacement Mauricio Pochettino was a very good result in our next Southampton manager market so it's pretty much levelled out for us.
"Adkins can consider himself pretty hard done by after guiding the Saints out of the bottom three after a poor start to the season and two successive promotions before that.
"He surely won't be out of a job for long and we make him 2/5 favourite to be Blackpool's next permanent manager.
"Martin Jol is now the 7/4 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to depart with Aston Villa's Paul Lambert 3/1.

William Hill saw the former Southampton boss backed in from 5/1 to 1/4 in the space of a few short hours on Friday morning with the biggest bet being a £150 wager from Christchurch at 5/1.
Paul Lambert is now their 7/4 favourite to become the next Premier League boss to leave his job while Martin Jol is just behind at 2/1.
Southampton are 7/4 joint fourth favourites to be relegated this season.
"We saw a rush of bets early on Friday morning that saw Adkins' odds collapse and it looks as though a few people have stolen a march on us," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
