Yelena Isinbayeva completed the 'grand slam' of pole vault titles with an easy victory in Gothenburg.
The Russian started as one of the hottest ever favourites to win gold and add to her world and Olympic titles.
She needed only three vaults to do so, clinching the gold once she had gone over 4.70m.
She was able to celebrate once her title rivals crashed out at 4.70 and 4.80, before clearing the latter height herself.
With the gold medal in the bag, Isinbayeva tried to break her own world record, but missed three times at 5.02, much to the crowd's disappointment.
Had she been successful, it would have been the 20th time she had set new figures of the event in her career.
Poland's Monika Pyrek and Russia Tatyana Polnova took the silver and bronze respectively. Both cleared 4.65.
